Annie Emma Seeman

April 2, 1920 - March 6, 2013

Funeral services for Annie Seeman, 92 of Giddings, were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings with Rev. Robert Tiner officiating. Burial followed in the Giddings City Cemetery.

Mrs. Seeman passed away the morning of Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at St. David's South Austin Medical Center.

Annie Emma Grimm Seeman was born on April 2, 1920 in Giddings, Texas to Henry F. & Anna (Niemtschk) Grimm. She was baptized on May 9, 1920 and confirmed on April 14, 1935 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Giddings by Rev. William Mueller. She was united in marriage to Henry Gus Seeman on December 23, 1945 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda by Rev. Paul Eifert. Annie's life revolved around her family and her farm. She enjoyed taking care of her cattle and ranching and working in her yard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Anna Grimm; her husband, Henry Seeman; eight brothers, Jacob Grimm, Herman Grimm, Albert Grimm, Robert Grimm,EdwinGrimm,AlvinGrimm, Adolph Grimm and Henry Grimm and three sisters, Sophie Kipp, Selma Kipp and Ella Bohot.

Annie is survived by her three children, Marilyn Miiller & her husband, Victor of Cedar Creek, Henry Seeman & his wife, Cheryl of Georgetown and Deborah Zoch & her husband, Wayne of Cedar Creek; five grandchildren, Kristal Coy & her husband, Willie of Bastrop, Scott Miiller of Austin, Jon Seeman & his wife, Cindy of Hutto, Amanda Zoch of Lubbock and Jared Zoch of College Station; nine great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Joyce Grimm & Charlie Cope of Giddings, Irene Grimm of Giddings, Elsie Kipp of Giddings and Mamie Seeman of Giddings, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers were Timothy Grimm, Douglas Grimm, Jared Zoch, Jon Seeman, Willie Coy and Scott Miiller. Honorary pallbearers were Jack Hamilton, Mark Noack and Darrell Grimm.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran School, 300 North Grimes, Giddings, Texas 78942 or to the charity of one's choice.
