Giddings Public Library subscribes to more than 40 different magazines. One category of magazines is the ladies’ home and garden type of magazines.
Better Homes and Gardens is full of decorating ideas for the home, recipes for delicious foods and unique gardening tips. This monthly magazine is loaded with colorful pictures and new ideas to inspire any homemaker. The March issue includes “104 Pretty Garden Touches Indoors and Out,” “Spring Baking! 4 Sweet Treats,” and “5 Quick Clutter Cures.”
Good Housekeeping is another magazine that includes food and recipes, decorating and organizing, diet and health, beauty and anti-aging, family and relationships, holidays and product reviews. The current issue features “Slow Cooker Suppers,” “Instant Stress Relief,” “Heloise’s Top Cleaning Tricks,” “No More Back Pain,” and “Alison Sweeney’s Weight-Loss Secrets (for fast results).”
Ladies Home Journal has advice on beauty, fashion, health, relationships, food, and pets. The newest issue contains articles on “Sexy Spring Shoes,” “Women Talk Honestly About Love And Marriage,” “Take Control of Your Money, Health & Happiness,” and “Kate Winslet On Family, Kids and Her Inspiring New Book.”
