Eagles Top Granger 10-3

Lexington garnered victory #2 with a 10-3 win over Granger Tuesday night. The Eagles used a big seven run fifth inning to take the game out of question.

Granger scored first in the top of the third. Lexington answered quickly, with two out. Logan Meuth went to the plate and singled. Then, Granger’s pitcher walked Kevin Letbetter. Kogan Garrett hit a fly ball that was dropped by the Granger infielder, and W.E. Meuth got Garrett home, when Granger’s shortstop airmailed the throw to first base.

Lexington’s big inning started when Kevin Letbetter singled, Kogan Garrett doubled him home, W.E. Meuth singled home Garrett, and Corey Strain singled home W.E. after a stolen base. Two walks and a single by Logan Meuth got the fifth and sixth runs home. Logan then scored on a wild pitch.
