Just a Thought.......
I will get to drive down the wonderful lane on the way to the Rock House and delight in the Glory of God’s world.
San Antonio will be a hazy memory of too many buildings and too few open spaces.
Birds will sing, colts and calves will romp and play. Children will suddenly appear out of doors and even old folks will walk in the evening. (Yes, I am one of them!)
Love will be in the air, but since I have already caught it, or, if she prefers, been caught by it, I will pray that it falls on those who want it and steers clear of others who are not yet ready for it. (Another column, there, I think.)
The sound of ball on bat will fill the air, as will the laughter and joy of picnics and parades.
Suddenly, the world will feel brand new, which, I believe, is just what God intended.
Winter, with its cold and gray, does not last forever. Rather, just when it seems to overwhelm, God sends a new day, a great day, a bright tomorrow.
Incidentally, God is willing to do the same thing inside of us, if we are willing to align our spirit with His.So, when the world turns new in this Season, don’t get left behind. God wants to dress you fresh, too.
