Lexington Police Report

February 5, 2013

Officer Nurse was dispatched to the 1000 block of N Main St. in reference to a Terroristic Threat. A female subject threatened to cut another female’s throat. The suspect had left the scene before the officer arrived. The incident is being investigated.

Cpt. Wooldridge responded to the 200 block of Ave G on a Criminal Trespass Complaint. Cpt. Wooldridge took a report and prepared the Criminal Trespass Warning.

February 8, 2013

Officer Nurse was dispatched to the 800 block of Rockdale St. in reference to a dog at large call. Officer located the owner of the dog and issued a citation.

Officer Nurse was dispatched to Peterson Grocery Store in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, the store owner had the juvenile suspect detained. At the owner’s, request no charges were filed, and he was released to his parents to receive further actions.

Officer Nurse was dispatched to Hwy 77 in reference to a disturbance occurring in a vehicle. The description of the vehicle was provided by dispatch. Officer Nurse checked the area but was unable to locate the vehicle.

Officer Sandoval was dispatched to the 1000 block of Main St. in reference to a suspicious vehicle in the area. Officer checked the area but did not locate the vehicle.

Officer Sandoval responded to a call on Giddings St. in which a vehicle struck a dog, then left the scene. The vehicle could not be located at this time.

Officer Sandoval, along with Officer Nurse, was dispatched to Peterson Grocery Store in reference to a gas drive off. A description of the vehicle was obtained and the case is under investigation.

Officer Nurse received a call of a lost dog in the 800 block of 10th St. The dog was left with a subject until the owner could be located.

February 9, 2013

Officer Sandoval received a call from a subject who stated that someone ran into an abandoned house located in the 1000 block of Main St. Officer checked the house, but could find no evidence of anyone entering the property.

Officer Sandoval observed from a distance a juvenile driving a small motorized vehicle down the street. Officer Sandoval was able to ensure the juvenile was no longer driving the cart on the roadway by having him to park it in the yard.

Officer Sandoval stopped a vehicle driven by a minor. After an investigation was conducted, the minor was found to be in possession of a large quantity of beer in an ice chest in the bed of the truck. The minor was issued a minor in possession of alcohol citation and the beer was seized as evidence. The minor’s parents were contacted and the minor was released into their custody.

Officer Sandoval was dispatched to the American Legion Hall in reference to a noise complaint. Officer contacted a subject in charge who stated the party was ending soon and would turn the music down.

Officer Sandoval was dispatched to Peterson’s Grocery Store in reference to an alarm call. Officer checked all doors and windows and found the building to be secure.

February 10, 2013

Cpt. Wooldridge arrested Dylan Hartranft in the 1000 block of Cherry St.on an outstanding warrant for a probation violation for Assault Family Violence. Hartranft was transported to the Lee County Jail, where he was booked on the outstanding warrant.

Cpt. Wooldridge conducted a vehicle unlock on a running vehicle for an individual located on 696 West. Cpt. Wooldridge unlocked the door and the owner was able to enter the vehicle.

Cpt. Wooldridge took a report of found property after a subject brought in a phone found while walking her dog on CR 405. The property was tagged and placed into evidence for safekeeping to be claimed by the owner.
