Rogers Tops Lady Eagles 61-44

Lexington fell to Rogers, sending them out of contention for a play off spot in the state tourney. Rogers played out against the Lady Eagles, shutting down their three-point shooting. Madison Bexley made all three of Lexington’s big shots. The rest of the game, the team went 0-12.

Bexley led the team in scoring with 15 points. Andrea Plummer had her best night in district play with 12 points. The game was a little rough as players were knocked down on both teams and nothing was called.

Rogers took control of the game in the second quarter when they bested Lexington 17-9. Rogers continued to expand their lead as the game played out. Lexington began rushing their shots and the turnover count rose also.
