Wilfred E. Mack
Wilfred E. Mack, born July 31, 1957 in Rockdale to the parents of Namon and Arlethia (Maloy) Mack, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, January 15, 2013 at the age of 55. His parents; two sisters, Velma Mack, and infant sister Marline Mack, and two brothers, Ronnie and Bobby Mack, all preceded him in death.
He was called caboose because he was the end of fourteen children to be born into our family.
Wilfred attended Lexington public school in Lexington, Texas. He moved to Colorado and there became the father of two baby girls. He later returned to Lexington and worked around Lexington as a landscaper.
Wilfred leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Lakashia Barber and Monisha Harris and two grandchildren all of Colorado; four brothers, Earl Mack, Tommie Mack, Melvin Mack and wife Minnie all of Rockdale, and George Mack of Lexington; five sisters, Billie Walker of Denver, Colorado, Celestine Roland and husband Maurice of Lakewood, Colorado, Louise Clinkscale and husband Eddie, and Mable Washington of Aurora, Colorado and Margie Swift and husband, Leroy of Rockdale; five uncles, Aaron Mack of Leo, Texas, L.C. Mack, Obbie Mack and wife Pearl of Rockdale, Bobby Mack and wife Evelyn of Lubbock, and Lem Mack of Giddings; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Wilfred’s services were 11:00 AM Monday, January 21, 2013 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
