Graveside services for Marjorie Bernice Thompson Clark were held Sunday, January 13, 2013 in the Prospect Cemetery near Lexington, Texas. Rev. Bobby Thompson officiated.
Her pallbearers were Shane Orr, Logan Hawthorne, Ken Larkin, Randy Ivicic, Buddy Cooper, and Phillip Peeples.
Honorary pallbearers included Mike Ivicic and Ricky Cooper.
Memorials may be made in her name to James L. West Hospice Home, 1111 Summit Ave., Ft. Worth, Texas 76102-3425.
Marjorie Bernice Thompson Clark was born September 18, 1925 in Tarrant County, Texas to John Duncan and Della Mae (Garland) Thompson.
Marjorie lived in Watauga, Texas the past eight years and was formerly of Fort Worth. While in Fort Worth, she was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Marjorie was retired from Georgetown I.S.D. as a dispatcher, where she was employed for 10 years.
Marjorie passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 in the James L. West Hospice House in Fort Worth, reaching the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her son, John Martin Wallace; her parents; two brothers, J.D. and Bobby Ray Thompson; three sisters, Thelma Florine Tackett, Jacelia Deweese and Gayle Robinson; her first husband Ernest Martin Wallace and second husband, Bill Clark.
Surviving are two daughters, Charlotte “Cherrie” Peeples and husband Billy of Niceville, Florida and Thalia Orr and husband Ronny of Keller, Texas; three sisters, Betty Jo Ivicic of Cleburne, Lanelle Cooper of Lexington and Maedelle Anthony of Georgetown; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
