Thrall Doesn’t Thrill Eagles

by Mike Organ

Lexington had a tough time in Thrall Friday night, losing 35-32. The Eagles had a hard time with the home-standing Tigers, and with some foul interpretations by the officials. The Eagles shot six free throws in the game, while Thrall got to the charity stripe 19 times. Lexington had two players foul out, while Thrall was only whistled for six the entire game.

Lexington was clearly the most aggressive team. Jason Washington scored 20 points, Eriq Mitchell 10, and London Jacob 2, as the Eagles’ only scorers.

As you can tell, Coach Williams was not pleased with the officiating, but the Eagles still “nearly” won the game.
