Sheriff’s Report

November 26, 2012

A motorist reported that a cow was out on FM 141 near CR 430; Deputy Ledenbach was unable to locate the animal.

A report was taken by Deputy Ledenbach about some wire theft on CR 205.

An alarm company called regarding a burglary alarm on Hwy 77. Deputy Ayers responded.

A caller reported hearing a gun fired in the CR 135 area near CR 114. Deputy Ayers checked the area, but was unable to locate anybody shooting.

A motorist reported a red truck running him off the road on FM 1697. Deputy Ayers searched for the truck, but was unable to locate it.

Deputy Crockett and Deputy Ray had a report of some suspicious activity on CR 303.

Deputy Ray removed some cattle from the road on CR 133 near Hwy 290.

November 27, 2012

A motorist reported that somebody had hit a deer and that it was still alive on the road. Deputy Ledenbach was dispatched to take care of the deer.

A caller reported that somebody threw some spikes in her driveway on CR 200. Deputy Ledenbach took a report.

Deputy Ayers took a report for theft on PR 6007 at an oil well site.

Deputy Ray, Deputy Ayers, Lexington PD Officer Nurse and Lexington EMS, along with B&M Ambulance, responded to a disturbance on CR 405.

November 28, 2012

A caller reported that some horses on FM 1624 looked like they were in really bad shape and needed a deputy to check on them. Deputy Rudolph went and checked on the horses. The case remains open.

Chief Deputy Lapham and Deputy Rudolph received a call about a disturbance on CR 209. Both deputies arrived, but no one at the residence said they had called for the police.

B&M Ambulance requested a deputy to an inquest on CR 415. Sheriff Meyer and Deputy Carvin responded and a report was taken.

A caller reported that her house on Stephen F. Austin Blvd in Dime Box was full of smoke. The Dime Box Volunteer Fire Department and Deputy Rudolph responded.

Deputy Skinner assisted Trooper Early with a one-car accident on FM 696 west.

A motorist reported a cow out on FM 141 near CR 117. Deputy Liles responded, but was unable to locate the cow.

November 29, 2012

A cow was reported out on CR 405. Deputy Skinner searched the area but was unable to locate the cow.

Deputy Rudolph took a report of a burglary that happened at Three Oaks Mine on FM 696.

Deputy Allen removed a cow from the road on FM 696 east.

Deputy Rudolph assisted CPS while they were doing a home visit.

A caller reported that someone stripped the wiring out of their meter box on FM 180. Deputy Allen took a report.

Deputy Liles went to check on a white horse that was reported as being unhealthy.

A caller reported that somebody stole his ATV on CR 113. Deputy Carvin took a theft report.

A caller advised that somebody was trying to open up credit cards in her name. Deputy Rudolph took the report and began a case for Identity Theft.

November 30, 2012

A caller reported that he saw an unfamiliar vehicle leaving his mom’s driveway. Deputy Ledenbach and Chief Deputy Lapham located the vehicle.

Several people reported a onecar accident on Hwy 21. Deputy Ledenbach and Deputy Ayers assisted Trooper Manner with the accident.

Deputy York took a report for theft of copper at Three Oaks Mine.

Deputy Ayers removed some cows off the road on CR 309.

A caller reported that someone was yelling, “Intruder!” over the radio at the Luminant mine and wanted the deputies to come out. Deputy Ayers and Deputy Ray responded. Nothing was taken and nobody was in the area.

Caller stated that two dogs went into her house and would not get out. Deputy Ray responded to help get the dogs out of her house. The caller was given information about what she could do with the animals.

Deputy Ayers assisted Trooper Early with a rollover accident on FM 141.

Deputy Ayers removed a deer carcass from the road on Hwy 21 near the Burleson County line.

December 1, 2012

Deputy York and Deputy Ledenbach completed a funeral escort in Tanglewood.

A caller reported a fight between some family members on CR 125. Deputy York and Deputy Ledenbach responded, but the subjects were gone upon arrival.

A fire was reported somewhere on FM 619 near the Williamson County line. Deputy Ledenbach and the Blue Fire Department were dispatched to locate the fire.

Deputy York removed a cow from the road on CR 316.

A caller reported that his neighbors’ music was loud and wanted a deputy to have the neighbors turn it down. Deputy York responded to the call on CR 233; the music was turned down.

A caller requested a deputy to help with a child custody issue. Deputy Ray responded to the call on FM 141.

Deputy Ayers responded to a criminal mischief call on CR 123; upon arrival both the subject and the caller had left the area.

Deputy Ayers was unable to locate a cow reported out on FM 696 near CR 407.

December 2, 2012

A domestic disturbance on FM 180 was reported. Deputy Ayers and Deputy Ray responded.

Deputy Ayers removed a cow on FM 696.

Deputy Ray took a report of a stolen vehicle near Lexington.

A cow was reported running loose on FM 696 east. Deputy Rudolph ran the cow off the road.

A caller reported that somebody was on her property and that she had already filed a criminal trespass warning on that individual. Deputy York responded to the call. The subject had already left the area.

A caller reported a brown horse on his property on CR 118. Deputy York was able to locate the owner and get the horse off the property.

A caller reported someone parked at the cemetery on CR 456. Deputy Ayers and Deputy Ray responded to the call.
