Santa Lights the Tree and Children Sing!

A children’s choir from First Baptist Church in Lexington, under the direction of Kim Washington, entertained a crowd at the Lexington Log Cabins last Saturday evening, while everyone waited for Santa to arrive to light the giant Christmas tree and to hear what all the children wanted for Christmas. The annual Pioneer Festival of Lights was sponsored by Round Top State Bank, the Lexington Log Cabins and the Rotary Interact Club. Santa arrived on a lighted horse drawn sleigh, courtesy of the John Brockenbush family.
