Just a Thought.......
But getting through it is always hard work and we are never the same again.
This last is testimony to our love. Folks move on, from this life to the next, but we hold on, for as long as we can on this side, for as long as we need when they are in the next.
In the midst of our suffering, friends help and family sustains. Having something yet to do, helps, as well as our faith that, one day, we will join them in a better place.
But, in the meantime, grief is something we must do, in our own way, in our own time.
This is why First Christian Church is offering a gift for the Holiday Seasons -- a seminar on getting through these too-often-difficult days.
If you attend, on Saturday evening, November 17th, at 7:00 pm, you will receive comfort and support, as well as materials on Grief and the best way, for you, to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas when you don’t really feel like it. We will also share materials on talking with your children about death and loss. And,there will be time for you to honor your loved one.
In the meantime, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and I look forward to seeing you then.
