Family Science Night

Two 5th Grade students go over their presentation at FSN. Two 5th Grade students go over their presentation at FSN. Fifth Graders at Lexington Elementary entertained and enlightened fellow students, parents, and guests at this school year’s first Family Science Night (FSN). There were eight groups presenting various science topics from whirling roller coasters and wacky solutions to electrical conductors and states of matter!

“The kids did a great job researching and presenting their topics. I am very proud of them, and they should be proud of themselves,” said their science teacher, Ms. Liz Selman. “We would like to thank the over 50 parents, faculty and guests who came to this event.” The next FSN will be December 4, 6:00 PM at Lexington Elementary.

The following students were presenters at Tuesday’s FSN: Ariel Adame, Hailey Bangert, Xavier Bangert, Autumn Bartlett, Michael Bates, Rylee Beddow, Jayton Benavidez, Wesley Bohl, Rayce Brewer, Delaney Brister, Michaela Butler, Madison Callas, Keneisha Clemons, Savannah Cummings, William Dube, Darren Easley, Layla Gardner, Katie Guynes, Kylie Hobbs, Cindy Huerta-Jimenez, Heath Lansford, and Jackie Rodriguez.
