Raymond C. Thompson
Raymond C. Thompson died at the age of 57 on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in Lancaster, Texas. He was born June 15, 1955 in El Paso, Texas to E.V. “Sonny” Thompson and Henrietta Bailey Thompson. He worked in the family-owned trucking business all of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Kim Lowrey Thompson; son Sonny Trace Thompson and girlfriend Chelsea Brock; his mother Henrietta Thompson of Lexington, TX; his brother Vaughn Lee Thompson and wife Debbie; nephews Scotty, Brandon and Elliot; nieces Devonne and husband Christian Teichman, Marmendy and husband Tim Thompson, and great-nieces Avery, Erin and Matilda; Kim’s parents Jack and Carolyn Lowrey, sister and brother-in-law Wendy and Mark Weiss and niece Kelsey Weiss, as well as numerous extended family members and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his dad E.V. “Sonny” Thompson, his daughter Jennifer Neil Thompson and his brother Bryan E. Thompson.
He was a loving husband, father, son and friend and was loved dearly by everyone. He gave silently with an endless supply of love and generosity to those around him. He will be in our hearts forever.
A memorial service was held to celebrate Raymond’s life on October 5, 2012 at Creekside Church of Christ in Midlothian, Texas.
