Lexington Police Report

October 1, 2012

Officer Nurse was dispatched to a burglar alarm call in the 200 Blk of Rockdale St. Officer Nurse checked all exterior doors and windows and found building to be secure.

Officer Nurse was dispatched to a call in the 100 Blk of 5th St. on a loud noise complaint. Officer Nurse made contact with the parties involved and advised them to stop the noise. They were also advised they needed to contact the manager about their situation.

October 3, 2012

Cpt. Wooldridge and Officer Nurse assisted DPS with a two car accident at CR 405 and HWY 77. Cpt. Wooldridge and Officer Nurse assisted with traffic control until DPS concluded their investigation.

Chief Yarbrough and Capt. Wooldridge responded to the 1200 Blk of Rockdale St on a loose livestock complaint. The owner of the livestock was contacted and took control of the livestock and advised the livestock would be removed from their property to prevent further incidents with the neighbors.

October 5, 2012

Officer Jirasek was dispatched to an unconscious subject lying in the ditch on Douglas St. and Ave A. E.M.S. was contacted. After an investigation, it was found the subject had been involved in a physical altercation. The subject refused medical treatment and a report was taken. Officer Jirasek was later dispatched to the 300 Blk of Ave. G on a disturbance involving the subject that was found unconscious on Douglas St. Subject was engaged in a verbal altercation with other members occupying the residence. Officer Jirasek was able to de-escalate the situation and had all parties return inside the residence without further problems.

Officer Nurse and Officer Vivas responded to a call to assist E.M.S in the 800 Blk of 5th St. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim and it appeared the victim had sustained some injuries. The victim was apparently confused and suffering from delusion. The victim was transported to the hospital where treatment was administered and a report was taken. An investigation has been initiated to determine the nature of the injuries sustained by the victim.

October 6, 2012

Officer Jirasek was dispatched to calls regarding barking dogs on Hilliard St. Officer Jirasek spoke with the owner and advised him to attempt to quiet the dogs. The owner advised they would try to quiet them down.

Officer Jirasek responded to Hale St. regarding a horse on the roadway. The owner was contacted and took control of the loose horse and re-secured it. Officer Jirasek cleared the area without further incident.

October 7, 2012

Cpt. Wooldridge and Officer Vivas were dispatched to the 9100 Blk of Hwy 77. Upon arrival contact was made with the complainant who advised it appeared that an unknown person had let their dogs out of their backyard. Contact was made with the neighbors about any information of any one on the complainant’s property letting the dogs out. The neighbors had no additional information which would assist in determining if someone let their dogs out. A report was taken and no further information was gathered at this time.
