Lady Eagles Loot Rosebud- Lott

Lexington’s Lady Eagles remained undefeated in District 22- AA with a dominating three game match win over Rosebud-Lott. Lexington won the three games 25-8, 25-9, 25-5. The Lady Eagles established themselves early in the opening game, taking an 8-1 lead. From there things were uphill for Lexington.

Johna Alford led the offense with 12 kills, 4 blocks, and 3 aces. Karsen Ross put up 18 sets for her teammates to slam home. Six different Lady Eagles had service aces in the short lived contest. Aleece Moerbe led the ace parade with 7 service points.

Defensively, there were few balls to dig. Alford had four blocks and Madeline Morton had one block. There were only 13 digs for Lexington in the match.

Lexington is now 19-4 for the season and 6-0 in district play.

The Lady Eagle JV lost to Rosebud-Lott 24-26, 16-25.

The Lexington Freshmen won in two games: 25-16, 25-15.

The following are the stats for the varsity girls: Johna Alford- 12 kills, 1 dig, 4 blocks, 3 aces; Madeline Morton- 1 block; Brittany Nickel- 1 assist, 1 ace; Madi Bexley- 1 dig; Karsen Ross- 3 kills, 18 assists, 1 dig, 1 ace; Karley Wren- 6 kills, 5 digs, 3 aces; Aleece Moerbe- 3 kills, 1 assist, 2 digs, 7 aces; and Meghann Wrinkle- 3 digs, 2 aces.
