September 23, 2012
Officer Nurse was dispatched to a dog at large call on Yegua St. Dog was located, impounded, and later released to the owner.
Officer Nurse was dispatched to a disturbance call in the 300 blk of First St. Subjects were located, and after investigation, a female was issued a citation for Assault by contact.
September 24, 2012
Chief Yarbrough made contact with a complainant at the Lexington Police Department and took a report from a female subject in the 500 blk of Rockdale St who stated someone possibly stole her wallet and cash. The information was gathered and investigation into the missing wallet began.
September 25, 2012
Chief Yarbrough made contact with a stranded vehicle in the 400 blk of 7th St. The vehicle was partially in the roadway creating a road hazard. After checking the registration of the vehicle, the registered owner was unable to be located to remove the vehicle from the roadway. The vehicle was then towed by Lexington Automotive.

Officer Jirasek was dispatched to the 8000 blk of Hwy 77 in reference to a possible intoxicated subject. Upon arrival, contact was made with the subject, and after further investigation it was determined the subject was not intoxicated and was asked to leave the property, which he did.
Officer Jirasek conducted a traffic stop in the 9000 blk of Hwy 77. Contact was made with the driver who was identified as Bobby Van Whitside B/M. After a check was conducted on Mr. Whitside’s DL, it was discovered that he was driving while his license was suspended. Officer Jirasek placed Mr. Whitside under arrest for Driving While License Suspended. While placing Mr. Whitside under arrest, during the pat down of Mr. Whitside, Officer Jirasek confiscated a useable amount of powder cocaine in Mr. Whitside’s possession. Mr. Whitside was transported to the Lee County Jail where he was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Driving While License Suspended.

Cpt. Wooldridge was dispatched to the 800 blk of Caldwell St to a burglary of a residence. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant who advised two firearms were stolen from their residence. Cpt. Wooldridge gathered all the necessary information, completed a report of the items missing, and initiated an investigation.
