Charles Edward Heller


Funeral services for Charles Heller, 66 of Lexington, were held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Lexington with Father Anthony Alphonse officiating. Burial followed in the Lexington Cemetery.

Mr. Heller passed away the morning of Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Seton Medical Center in Austin.

Charles Edward Heller was born on August 14, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas to Oscar & Clara (Bittner) Heller. He graduated from Bishop Forest High School in Schulenberg and attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.

Charles was united in marriage to Sharon Holub on November 27, 1966 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenberg. He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Lexington. Charles enjoyed ranching and was co-owner of the Lexington Livestock Commission.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Scott Holub Heller; his brother, Oscar Heller Jr. and his sister, Marcelline Renken.

Charles is survived by his wife, Sharon Heller of Lexington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Russell & Shannon Heller of Lexington and Steven & Christine Heller of Lexington; four grandchildren, Henry & Caroline Heller and Aubrey & Ethan Heller all of Lexington and a brother-inlaw, Tommy & Clara Holub of Katy.
