Lexington Police Report

September 18, 2012

Cpt Wooldridge was dispatched to a disturbance at Peterson’s Grocery store. Upon arrival, the involved persons had left the area. Cpt. Wooldridge was able to positively identify the persons involved in the verbal disturbance. Cpt. Wooldridge established contact with the persons involved via telephone and advised they were not allowed to return to the Peterson’s Grocery Store. Criminal Trespass Warnings were issued and a report was taken documenting the verbal disturbance.

Chief Yarbrough and Cpt. Wooldridge were dispatched to the 9000 blk of N Hwy 77 in reference to a man found inside the complainant’s garage. Upon arrival, the complainant advised the suspected person had fled the area traveling in an unknown direction. A description of the suspect was given and Chief Yarbrough and Cpt. Wooldridge canvassed the area searching for the suspect. After a thorough canvass was conducted, Chief Yarbrough and Cpt. Wooldridge departed the area.

September 19, 2012

While conducting building checks in the City of Lexington, Officer Jirasek discovered an opened door to a building in the 500 blk of Main St. Officer Jirasek checked the area for possible suspects and property damage. Officer Jirasek conducted a thorough check of the building and discovered there were no suspects inside, damages caused to the property or signs of forced entry. Officer Jirasek cleared the area without incident.

Officer Jirasek was dispatched in the area of SHWY 77 in reference to a possible intoxicated driver who was located out in the county. Officer Jirasek assisted the Lee County Deputy with a traffic stop. After the traffic stop was conducted and a further field investigation was conducted, the driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

Officer Jirasek conducted a motorist assist at the CEFCO Store. Officer Jirasek assisted the motorist with getting his vehicle started. After the vehicle was started, the motorist and Officer Jirasek departed the area.

September 21, 2012

Cpt. Wooldridge met with a complainant who wished to file a Criminal Trespass Warning against Sam Scoggins. This Criminal trespass warning was initiated due to Sam Scoggins spraying her neighbors in the face with wasp spray on September 12, 2012. The Criminal Trespassing Warning was completed to be issued to Sam Scoggins.

Officer Nurse was dispatched to the Sonny’s RV Park in reference to a locked vehicle. Office Nurse assisted the motorist who was locked out of the vehicle. The vehicle was unlocked and the motorist was able to re-enter the vehicle. Officer Nurse cleared the area without further incident.

Officer Nurse assisted Lee County Sheriff’s Office on CR 320 for subjects riding 4 wheelers on the street. The subjects were located and instructed to no longer ride the 4 wheelers on a public road. The subjects complied and were followed back to their residence where they resumed their riding.

September 22, 2012

Officer Jirasek responded to a suspicious vehicle call on South Rockdale St. Upon arrival, contact was made with a subject in question. Officer Jirasek conducted a field investigation and it was determined the subject had permission to be where he was. Officer Jirasek the cleared the area and resumed patrol duties.

Officer Jirasek was dispatched to CR 320 on subjects racing up and down the street on CR 320. Upon arrival, Officer Jirasek canvassed the area searching for the subjects involved in racing in the area of CR 320. Officer Jirasek was unable to locate the subjects involved. Officer Jirasek made contact with the complainant and instructed them to notify the Lee County Dispatch should the racers return to the area. Officer Jirasek then cleared the area without incident.

Officer Jirasek was dispatched to Ave G in reference to a loud music complaint. Contact was made with the subjects at the residence and they were advised to turn the music down. The subjects complied without incident and Officer Jirasek cleared the area without incident.

Officer Jirasek assisted DPS in locating a subject who lives in Lexington and was involved in a hit and run accident. The suspect was located in the 400 block of 6th St. and DPS issued the subject a citation for leaving the scene of an accident. Officer Jirasek and the DPS Trooper cleared the area without incident.

Officer Jirasek was dispatched to SHWY 77 on the south end of the City of Lexington to be on the lookout for a vehicle involved in a hit and run. It was dispatched that the vehicle was en route to the City of Lexington and was last seen traveling northbound on SHWY 77. Officer Jirasek was unable to locate the vehicle suspected of being involved in a hit and run accident.

Cpt Wooldridge was dispatched to a loose livestock call on SHWY 77 S. Cpt. Wooldridge located the loose livestock and was able to coral the livestock back to the pastures where they belonged. Cpt. Wooldridge was unable to establish contact with the owner of the livestock after corralling them. Cpt. Wooldridge then departed the area after the livestock was secured.
