7th Annual Texas Word Wrangler Festival

Celebrating our Texas Traditions

The Giddings Public Library and Cultural Center is hosting their 7th Annual Texas Word Wrangler Festival on September 14th at 9AM. The festival brings Texas authors and authors that write about Texas to Giddings for a full day of book signings, discussions and camaraderie. Located in the Cultural Center at 276 N. Orange, this year twenty-six authors will spend the day with visitors.

The Texas Word Wrangler Festival is “Celebrating Texas Authors,” focusing on the rich history of Giddings and Texas. Authors from all genres will be in attendance. Romance, mystery, fiction, and history are just some of the areas of interest. Local history will be featured this year with two of our own Lee County authors. This event is for people of all ages who enjoy a good book. Visitors will have an opportunity to meet the authors and have their books signed.

The Giddings Public Library is pleased to host this free event as a service to the community and to encourage visitors to come into the library. Bus tours welcome.
