Lexington Police Report

August 27, 2012

Officer Nurse was dispatched to a suspicious person in the 300 block of Rockdale St. Officer Nurse checked the area, but was unable to locate subject.

Officer Nurse was dispatched to Hillard Street in reference to a dogat large call. Officer Nurse spoke with subjects where the dogs possibly came from, but the subject stated all their dogs were inside the fence.

Officer Nurse patrolled the school zones and no citations were issued.

August 30, 2012

Officer Jirasek attempted to arrest a subject in the 700 block of Ave A on a protective order violation. Subject ran out the back door where he assaulted a Deputy. The subject then ran from officers. Officer checked the area and searched a field, but the suspect was not located.

Officer Nurse assisted CPS in trying to locate a subject and her children in the 700 block of Ave A.

Officer Nurse was unable to locate any of the subjects.

Officer Nurse spoke with subjects in the 600 block of Ave B in an attempt to locate a subject and her children.

Officer Nurse was dispatched to the 9100 block of N. Hwy 77 in reference to a welfare check. The female subject was found to be safe and ok.

Officer Nurse conducted some traffic stops and issued two citations for speeding in a school zone.

August 31, 2012

Officer Blake Jirasek was dispatched to the 100 block of Ave E in reference to a subject with a gun threatening to kill other subjects. An investigation was conducted and the suspect, David Sims, was located and placed under arrest for Terroristic Threat.

Officer Nurse was dispatched to Snow St. on a welfare check. Subject was found to be ok.

Officer Nurse was dispatched to the 100 block of 5th Street in reference to a broken water pipe. City workers were contacted and the pipe was fixed.

September 1, 2012

Officer Jirasek responded to an alarm call at the Round Top Bank. Officer Jirasek checked the perimeter, including all doors and windows, all of which were found to be secure. Officer then cleared the scene.

Officer Jirasek was requested by Lee County Sheriff’s office to check the area of the 9000 block of Hwy 77, out in the county, for a report of shots fired. After the officer ran the investigation, it was determined the shots came from subjects legally hunting on private property.

Officer Nurse was dispatched to the 500 block of Ave D in reference to kids knocking on doors then running away. Officer Nurse located the kids and, with parent’s consent, took the kids back to the houses they knocked on, where they apologized to the residents.
