Most Wanted Fugitive Captured in San Antonio
Eddie Garza Jr., 40, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, is now in custody after being captured in San Antonio. A $5,000 reward will be paid on a tip that helped lead to his arrest. The Texas Mexican Mafia member was wanted for Parole Violation, and his convictions include Attempted Murder and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.
So far in 2012, DPS and other agencies have arrested 27 Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, including 19 gang members, and $80,500 in rewards have been paid for tips that resulted in arrests. The cash rewards are funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division.
