Woodrow And Elizabeth Spacek Presented Awards


The award, presented by District Governor Ernie Koy, was received by Woodrow Spacek’s wife, Elizabeth. Elizabeth Spacek was honored by the Dime Box Lions Club with a Honorary Lifetime Membership for her dedication to the Lions Club and to the community of Dime Box. The award was presented by Club President Roger Wubbenhorst during ceremonies on August 23, 2012. Woodrow Spacek, who passed away on February 8, 2012 and had been active in the Dime Box Lions Club for many year until his health started to fail in 2011, was the recipient of the Texas Lions Foundation Fellow, the highest award available statewide to deserving Lions. The award, presented by District Governor, Ernie Koy, was received by his wife, Elizabeth. Also present during the ceremonies were his children, Charlotte Mikulin and Kathy and Bruce Cowen, along with a granddaughter, LaTosha Mikulin, and several of his great grandchildren.
