Yes, it’s August, temperatures are in the 100’s and . . . it’s time to plant poinsettias!
Poinsettia planting is an annual event at Down Home Ranch, something that many Ranchers, staff and volunteers team together to get done. We plant 12,000 little plants in 6 1/2" pots and need all the help we can get to do it.
This year we’ll be planting on the following days and dates:
Saturday, August 18th and Saturday, August 25th
We will need about 20-25 people all day, 8AM to 4PM, and lunch is provided if you work at least half of the day. If you, your family (little ones can help too) or group want to enjoy some work and fellowship in the Central Texas heat, just get in touch with Denise: firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (512) 856-0128
