Lexington Police Report

July 30, 2012

Officer Jirasek conducted a civil standby in the 600 block of Ave C. No problems were reported during the standby.

Officer Jirasek received a phone call at the Lexington Police Dept, in reference to a possible theft of a motor vehicle. The complainant did not wish to file charges at this time.

Officer Jirasek responded to the 600 block of Caldwell St. in reference to a complaint about juveniles pointing toy guns at subjects. The juveniles were located and advised not to point their toy guns at subjects.

Officer Lucas responded to a call in reference to a subject selling meat out of a vehicle. The subject had left the scene upon officer’s arrival.

Officer Lucas assisted another officer with a Criminal Trespass Notice investigation and possible Criminal Mischief report.

July 31, 2012

Officer Jirasek met with a complainant at the Lexington Police Dept, where the complainant reported a Criminal Mischief,. A report was taken.

Officer Jirasek reponded to the Manager at Savannah Apts., who requested a Criminal Trespass Notice be given to a known subject at the Savannah Apts. A report was taken and the Criminal Trespass Notification was filled out and served.

Officer Jirasek conducted a search in the city for subjects who were reported to be in possession of illegal narcotics. The suspects had left the area.

Officer Lucas responded to a gas leak in the 800 block of Hale St. Officers blocked off the street while repairs were made to the gas line. Officers then cleared the scene.

Officer Lucas responded to a call for telephone harassment. After further investigation, it was found that no harassment had occurred.

August 1, 2012

Officer Jirasek responded to the 500 block of Ave B in reference to a previous call of Criminal Mischief, and in reference to a vehicle being driven by an unlicensed driver.

Officer Jirasek received information about a subject in violation of a Protective Order. Officers are investigating this situation.

Officer Jirasek responded to the 400 block of Ave F in reference to a Criminal Trespass notification in which the complainant just moved into town and was being harassed by an x-boyfriend, who lives out of town. The Criminal Trespass Notification was sent to the Burleson County Sheriff’s Dept, where it was served on the suspect.

Officer Jirasek attempted to catch a suspect who was violating a protective order. No contact was made with the suspect at that time.

August 2, 2012

Capt Wooldridge responded to a call for service at Petersons Store in regarding a disoriented elderly subject who wanted to speak with the Police. The subject was with his wife, who was having trouble getting the elderly male subject back into the vehicle. After speaking with the Police, the male subject got back into the vehicle with his wife and left the scene.

Capt Wooldridge, along with Chief Yarbrough, was dispatched to Hale St in reference to a child locked inside a vehicle. Chief Yarbrough unlocked the vehicle and the child was unhurt.

Officer Jirasek followed up on a previous Criminal Trespass Notification and assisted the complainant.

August 3, 2012

Officer Jirasek attempted to locate a subject to serve him with a Criminal Trespass Notification. The officer was unable to locate subject at that time.

Officer Jirasek responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of Hale St. The involved parties were separated and a report was taken. One subject was transported to the Lexington Police Dept, where the subject was evaluated by Bluebonnet Trails Mental Health by phone. The subject was then released.

August 4, 2012

Officer Nurse responded to a call for a welfare check in the 800 block of Rockdale St. After making contact with the subject, it was determined that she was fine.

August 5, 2012

Officer Lucas responded to the Round Top Bank for an alarm. After checking the outside perimeter and doors, the bank was found to be secure.

Officer Lucas responded to a call at the Cefco in which kids were being a nuisance. Officer spoke with the kids and the situation was solved.

Officer Lucas responded to a call in reference to a subject drinking alcohol in the park. Subject had left the area upon officer’s arrival.
