Girls 10U Fastpitch ASA National Championships

Kylie Hobbs, daughter of Travis and Amy Hobbs of Lexington and granddaughter of Pam Cox and Darrell Cox of Lexington and Diana and Bill Moon of Elgin, is the starting pitcher for Texas Blaze, a 10U girls’ fastpitch select softball team. They traveled to the Southern “A” National Girls 10U Fastpitch ASA Tournament in Ridgeland, Mississippi last week and went undefeated until the Championship game.

Kylie pitched five out of six games they played. Kylie’s team is a 1st year 10u team, and as such, was the youngest to compete and place in the Tournament, taking home the 2nd place trophy. Her team has qualified to compete in the ASA “A” National Tournament in Bowling Green, Kentucky next year.
