Private Applicator Training Set

Individuals wanting to become a licensed private applicator with the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) will have an opportunity to attend a training on Wednesday, September 19, in the Lee County Extension office, 310 South Grimes, Giddings.

The training consists of lecture, video and worksheets. Registration is $60 per person and includes study materials, refreshments and catered lunch. The study materials may be picked up prior to the class.

Pre-Registration is recommended as class size is limited.

A private applicator license allows the purchase and application of restricted-use/state limited-use pesticides in the production of an agricultural commodity.

Check-in begins at 7:45 am and the training will start promptly at 8 am. The training lasts approximately 3.5 hours. A TDA representative will administer the exam. TDA license application fee is not included.

Individuals with disabilities who plan to attend the meeting and who may need auxiliary aids, services or accommodations must contact the Lee County Extension office at least five (5) days prior to the event so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
