Kristal McKinley and Oliver “Stuart” McHenry, III were united in marriage on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Giddings, with Pastor Jeremy Walloch officiating the ceremony. Parents of the bride are Pat and John David McKinley of Lexington. The groom is the son of Cyndee McHenry of Round Rock and John McHenry of Lexington, and the late Eileen McHenry. Kristal’s grandparents are White and Tootsie Tomanetz and Lona McKinley. Stuart’s grandparents are Sally McHenry Welch, Rosemary Moore, and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Hart.
Kristal was escorted down the aisle by her father and daughter, Allison, while Stuart carried their daughter, Harleigh, down the aisle.
A candle, picture and bouquet were placed in loving memory of Heidi McKinley, late sisterin law of the Bride. Miniature Bride was Allison Crow of Lexington, daughter of the bride, Matron of Honor was Leilani Culpepper of Lake Jackson, and Bridesmaids were Lindsey Grimm of Lexington and Mary Riley of Bastrop, friends of the bride. Flower girls were Alaya McKinley and Savanna McKinley, nieces of the bride.
Inside the bridal bouquet was a small white Bible given to Kristal at her baptism on June 24, 1984, by her Godmother, Mrs. Barbara Wilson.
Best Man was Shane McHenry of Lexington, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Nathan McKinley of Universal City, brother of the bride, Curtis McHenry of Round Rock, brother of the groom, and ring bearer was Grayson McHenry of Round Rock, brother of the groom.
House party attendants were Lara McKinley, Martha Delovio, Kathy Gordon, Shirley Lancaster, Laura Seal, and Brittany Shelly. Ushers were Bryon Gordon and Dalton Gordon. The processional was played by Aaron Garcia and Ryan Grube. The Lord’s Prayer was sung by Laurie Grube.
John David and Pat McKinley hosted a reception following the ceremony which was held at the American Legion in Giddings. Everyone enjoyed a Bar-B-Que meal, provided by Jake’s Bar- B-Que, and a dance followed with music provided by Billy ‘T’ Music and Sound.
