ELDERLY BROTHERS - is a Three Part Harmony group made up of Don George, Bill Spiegel and Del Kubena. DEL KUBENA is from the Lockhart area and has been playing music since the age of 14. He was the producer and MC of the Lockhart Opry for 15 years until its close in August of 2011. Del’s love of music did not end with the close of the Opry, he still sings and plays at nursing homes in Lockhart, Gonzales, Luling, Schulenburg, Bastrop or anywhere else he is invited to perform. BILL SPIEGEL grew up at the time classical country and popular music was in its prime. He was born and raised in the small country town in Sharp, Texas. He loved to sing since he was a teenager and had to be content to sing with the radio or the old 78 records. He has performed at all the area Oprys, doing country music, but his first love of music came from the crooners of his younger years. DON GEORGE has been involved in music performance almost all his life. He got his first violin at the age of 7 and his first guitar at 9. He has appeared on shows with Glen Campbell, T. Texas Tyler, Johnny Cash, Minnie Pearl and many other performers.

ALLISON CROWSEN is a great keyboard and accordion player. She has played with many country singers and was the host of the Brenham Opry several years ago.

CHRIS RYBAK really needs no introduction but we are so happy to have him back with us for a toe tapping good time. Chris is one of the most popular accordion entertainers in Texas and can be found performing all across the state throughout the year. Combining his love of music, strong Czech Heritage, and arousing charisma, this accordion cowboy has what it takes to entertain audiences through his showmanship and fresh enthusiastic musical style. Chris’s show utilizes his talents on the accordion, along with the keyboard, a trumpet and vocals. He has charmed countless audiences of all ages, opinions and musical tastes, as he plays over 150 dates a year that include everything from the Texas Folklife Festival in San Antonio, the German Wurstfest in New Braunfels, Labor Day’s Czech West Fest in Central Texas and many others. He also has taken his music multiple times to Europe, including appearances in the Czech Republic, Germany and Slovakia (the homeland of his beautiful wife Edita). His CD entitled “Shiner Time” has two hits inspired by his wife Edita and his guitar friend James Rittenhouse and his experience at the Country Festival in France. This CD also debuted at the Shiner Beer 100th Anniversary. They have a beautiful little girl Kristina Nicole Rybak.
