Three Sentenced to Jail Time in District Court

Three others get probation

Three people were sentenced to time in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice State Jail facility in the 21st District Court of Lee County last week. Judge Terry Flenniken presided over the court that also gave three others probation for their offenses.

Charles Eugene Jones, 63 of Giddings, was sentenced to seven years in jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, causing bodily injury. He was ordered to pay a total of $788 in court costs and fees, plus an additional $7,511.91 restitution.

Louis D. Byers, 18 of San Angelo, Texas, was sentenced to six years in jail for assault of a public servant. He was ordered to pay a total of $788 in court costs and fees.

Adrian Aguilar received five years confinement in jail for tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, and another year in jail for possession of a controlled substance (cocaine, less than one gram). In both cases, he was ordered to pay a total of $976 in court costs, fees and restitution.

Raven J. Ackley, 19 of Royce City, Texas, was given ten years probation after incarceration for harassment of a public servant. She was ordered by the Judge to pay a total of $1,788 in court costs, fees and fines.

Shauneka Lavannah Gage, 29 of Brenham, was given five years probation for credit card or debit card abuse. She was ordered to pay a total of $1,888 in court costs, fees and fines. She was ordered to perform 200 hours of community service restitution.

Datreana Dushawn Crawford, 20 of Austin, was given four years probation for credit card or debit card abuse and ordered to pay a total of $1,388 in court costs, fees and fines. She was ordered to perform 200 hours of community service restitution, as well.
