Lexington Man Sentenced in Court

A Lexington man was sentenced to 180 days confinement in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center for theft of property, valued at less than $1,500, with two or more previous convictions.

Jason Ray Schulze, 39 years of age, was sentenced on Thursday, June 14, in the 21st District Court of Lee County with the Honorable Terry Flenniken presiding.

Schulze was also sentenced on a second count of burglary of a habitation. For that charge, the Judge sentenced him to an additional 180 days confinement in a state jail facility, probated for five years.

In each case, Schulze was ordered to pay $304 for court costs, $400 for his court appointed attorney, a $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee and a $34 DNA testing fee. As a condition of his second sentencing, the defendant was ordered to enter and successfully complete the Central Texas Treatment Center Program.
