Again, The Giddings Public Library offers a nice variety of large print books. Stop by and check them out. Killed at the Whim Of A Hat by Colin Catterill (in CD also) is a thrilling book about Jimm Juree who fears that her career is over until the bodies of two hippies are discovered in a local farmer’s field and a Buddhist abbot is murdered.

The Bride Wore Scarlet by Liz Carlyle is about bride Anais de Rohan passing as the new bride of Lord Bessett, one of the Society’s ruthless leaders, as he works to save a little girl with psychic powers.

Making Spirits Bright by Fern Michaels, Elizabeth Bass, Rosalind Noonan and Nan Rossiter, is set during the Christmas season. Melanie McLaughlin schemes with Bryce Landry to marry for the holidays so she can adopt two orphaned siblings.

Only Mine by Susan Mallery finds us in another romance reality competition as Dakota Hendrix is drawn to Finn Anderssen, a sexy stranger who will do anything to keep his twin brothers off the show.

The Secret Mistress by Mary Balogh is a love story about Lady Angeline Dudley who harbors a secret desire for a simple marriage in spite of expectations that she marry a wealthy, titled man. She must come up with a plan when she falls for an earl who does not return her feelings.

Love In The Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas presents another wonderfully entertaining, lusciously sensual historical romance.

Other interesting large print books are: Deadly Pursuit by Irene Hannon; A Woman Without Lies (in CD also) by Elizabeth Lowell; Sacred Evil by Heather Graham and Deadly Notions by Elizabeth Lynn.

The Library is open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Bridge Classes are starting Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 1:00 P. M. - 5:00 P. M. for 7 to 8 weeks.
