Man Gets 18 Years for Burglary and Credit Card Abuse

A Bastrop man was sentenced to two consecutive terms in the state jail facility last Monday by the Honorable Terry Flenniken, 21st District Judge for Lee County. Jeramie Sherman Wyatt Vanover, 34 years of age, received a sentence of 16 years for burglary of a habitation, repeat felony offender, and two more years for credit card or debit card abuse. The court ordered that Vanover to pay a total of $608 in court costs, $800 in court appointed attorney fees, $100 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stoppers fee and $68 DNA testing fee. He was also ordered to pay $17,958.83 in restitution.
