City and School Board Election Results

Deciding votes were cast Saturday, as several candidates vied for Lexington’s Mayor’s position and two city council positions, as well as for two Lexington ISD Board of Trustee positions.
Incumbent Robert Willrich, Sr. won the Mayor’s race with 125 votes. Charlotte Hooper and Chris Billings upset the incumbents in the City Council race, with 170 and 101 votes respectively.
In the school board election, a heated contest ended with incumbents Phillip Brown with 404 votes and Joe Green with 351 votes, being elected.
