Stop by the Giddings Public Library and check out the books from some of our favorite authors. Also, don’t forget to look at our CTLS selections that we get every three months.

Fallen by Karin Slaughter reveals an unsettling truth about Special Agent Faith Mitchell as she teams up with Will Trent and Sara Linton. Faith is unable to retain her professional detachment when her mother is abducted while babysitting her four-month old daughter. Heartwishes by Jude Deveraux is an Edilean novel about Gemma Ranford who stumbles on a reference to a legendary stone reputed to grant wishes to family members.

77 Shadow Street by Dean Koontz is another first-rate suspense book that is scary and stylish. The affluent occupants of luxury apartments, housed in a two-hundred-year-old mansion with a terrifying waking nightmare when the haunted house reawakens, leaving no one safe from its grip. Painted Ladies by Robert B. Parker (in CD also) is another Spenser novel about PI Spenser as he is hired by a museum to provide protection during a ransom exchange for a stolen painting.

Treason At Lision Grove by Anne Perry is a masterpiece, inspired by history and spinning on a razor’s edge of tension, with a cast of characters as rich as the universe Perry evokes. Goddess Of Vengeance by Jackie Collins is a novel full of power, passion, revenge, and the raging family dynamics of the Santangelo clanand, as always, Lucky comes out on top.

There are many other thrilling books that are available to our readers such as: Forbidden: The Book Of Mortals by Ted Dekker and Tosca Lee; Catacombs by Ann McCaffrey and Elizabeth Ann Scarborough; The Forgotten Affairs Of Youth by Alexander McCall Smith; The House Of Silk by Anthony Horowitz and The Alpine Winter by Mary Richardson Daheim.
