Anna Louise Williams
Anna was born on October 14, 1923 in Houston, Texas to Howard Myron & Mary Ester (McGar) Kilmer. A graduate of Angleton High School, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Williams on November 3, 1943 in Houston. Anna was employed by the Red Rock Bottling Company, Margone Textile Company, did the accounting for the family farm, and was a loving and devoted homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, music, and reading.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two daughters, Patricia Webb and Cassandra Davidson; granddaughter, Cassandra “AnnaJeannette” Davidson; sister, Joyce Hoke and brother, Charles Kilmer.
She is survived by her children, Ann & Jerry Gundy of College Station, Gil & Margaret Williams of Patagonia, AZ, Ron Webb of Lubbock, Beckie & Carl Tanner of Houston, Ben Williams of Angleton and Jeanette Williams of Lexington; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-greatgrandchild; brother, David Kilmer, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Anna Williams, were 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Lexington United Methodist Church in Lexington with Rev. Lance Richards officiating. A graveside service was held Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe, Texas. Serving as pallbearers were Anna’s grandsons.
The family wishes to express their thanks to Odyssey Hospice and to Josh Williams, her grandson and care giver.
