Five Individuals Sentenced in Lee County District Court
The Honorable Terry Flenniken presided over the 21st District Court of Lee County on Wednesday of last week, sentencing five people.
Billy Huff, 53 of Houston, was sentenced to nine years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System for tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, habitual felony offender. Judge Flenniken ordered him to pay a total of $1,188 in court costs and fees.
Steven Michael Baker, 46 of Houston, also received nine years confinement in the TDCJ for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information and engaging in organized criminal activity. Judge Flenniken ordered him to pay a total of $788 in court costs and fees, plus an additional $17,297.56 in restitution.
Aaron Jovan Allen, 18 of Houston, was sentenced to two consecutive five year terms in the TDCJ for two counts of assault against a public servant. He was ordered to pay $788 in court costs and fees in each case, for a total of $1,576.
Eugene Brooks, III, 18 of Spring, Texas was sentenced to two years confinement in the TDCJ for indecency with a child. He was ordered to pay a total of $788 in court costs and fees and was ordered to register as a sex offender with the State of Texas.
Samuel Mason, 46 of Giddings, was sentenced to five years, probated for five years, for assault against a public servant. Mason was ordered to pay a total of $1,288 in fines, court costs and fees and ordered to perform 120 hours of community service restitution. He was also ordered to spend 180 days confined in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center as a condition of probation assessed in a misdemeanor case in the Lee County Court.
