Ruth Marquardt, an avid gardener and member of the Lexington Garden Club, is seen standing amid a large bed of “free will” dill and Bells of Ireland. She said the Bells are stunning in flower arrangements, which she can easily assemble from the broad array of flowers she hosts in her gardens. On the right, Ruth is seen showing a strong stand of Texas Gladiolas, an old (read: antique) bulb, native to our fine state, that has found a happy place in her garden.
