On a stormy Tuesday afternoon, the Eagle nation traveled to Little River Academy to take on the Bees in district action in both baseball and softball. The skies were dark and the weather was ominous.

The JV baseball team started off and immediately started scoring. Backed by the pitching of #10 LondonJacobanda2run homerun by #6 Walt Green, the JV Eagles led 6-2 when the game was finally delayed because of lightening at the end of the third inning.

With a game suspension and time running out for the JV, the Eagles were awarded the win and the Varsity was sent to the field to warm up for an earlier game start.

Five minutes into warm up, the Varsity baseball team came off the field, gathered their equipment and headed for the bus. There was rain all around, but the cancelled game was due to the lights in center field not working.
