The Lexington City Council will meet in Regular Session on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at 6:00 p.m., at the Woodson Community Center, 631 N. Rockdale, Lexington, Texas.

Agenda:

Call meeting to order, Welcome guest, Citizen input.

Approve the minutes for the meetings of March 14th & 28th, 2012.

Discuss and possible action to approve paying bills for the month of March 2012.

Consider/act to authorize Kerbow & Associates to proceed on the 2013/2014 Texas Community Development Block Program Grant Application.

Consider/act on Kerbow & Associates for 2013/2014 Texas Community Development Block Grant Program Grant Application.

Discuss and possible action on enforcement of city ordinances. – Mary Atkins

Discuss and possible action to do some cleanup work around town. – Captain Yarbrough

Discuss and possible action to have yoga classes in the Woodson Community Center and the user pay attorney fees for drawing up contract.

Discuss and possible action to apply for a matching public infrastructure grant for the designated downtown area.

Discuss and possible action to put out bid for bank depository.

Per City Attorney’s request – City Council will convene into Executive Session pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Section 551.074 to discuss the employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of the police chief.

Per City Attorney’s request – City Council will reconvene into Public Session pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Section 551.074 to take action on the employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of the police chief.
