On March 3, 2012, Boy Scout Troop 142 gave service to the Lexington United Methodist Church by constructing a new playscape under the direction of Pack Leader Robert Brister. Nine Boy Scouts, ranging in age from 11 to 16, three Scout leaders, and two representatives of the church spent approximately 4 hours to assemble the playscape boat. Eric Koch, Jonathan Tscheple, Dillon Brister, Simon Baggstrom, Seth Baggstrom, Steven Butler, Dalton Brister, Rick Brister, Robert Brister, Steve Tscheple (not pictured), Christian Koch, Benjamin Hebert, Cole Maulden, Robert Ahrendt, Richard Hallum, and Richard Kelly are all seen above around the finished project.
