Both Texas teams were bounced from the national basketball championship tourney rather quickly. I thought neither team really belonged in the tourney. The Lady Aggies are the defending national champions and Baylor is ranked #2 in the nation.

It is the time of the year when the athletes’ time is being taken by the various activities. Softball, baseball, track, tennis, golf, livestock shows, UIL academic competition, and state testing. Oh, and they have school lessons to do, also. How do the youngsters keep it all going at the same time?

The Astros are not winning in spring training. The Rangers have spent a large fortune trying to get back to the World Series. I hope they spent wisely.

The Cowboys and Texans are cutting players and signing free agents. They are trying to make the right move that will take their team to the Super Bowl.
