The Giddings Public Library has many interesting and informative non-fiction books to check out. Listed are a few you’ll love.

Fayette County by Jon Todd wishes to share a glimpse into Fayette County’s past, with his and others postcard collections, to champion Fayette’s history and encourage its preservation.

NCLEX-RN by Barbara J. Irwin is a guide to the practical nursing exam, including two practice tests, detailed answer explanations, and information on the exam’s content and structure.

The Meghan Method by Meghan Carter is a step-by-step guide to decorating your home in your style.

Classic Sourdoughs by Ed Wood reveals a newly discovered secret to crafting the perfect loaf: by introducing a unique cultureproofing step and adjusting the temperature of the proofs, home bakers can control the sourness and leavening like never before.

Donkeys by Anita Gallion is a very informative book about choosing the right type of donkey for your needs, constructing donkey-proof housing, common donkey diseases, breeding and care for the newborn foals. This book is highly recommended for every donkey owner or breeder.

The Complete Idiot’s Guide To Cheese Making by James R. Leverentz shows ways to create delicious artisan cheese at home.

The Library is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m until 1 p.m.
