Teen Gets Four Years Probation
An eighteen year old young man from Austin was sentenced in the 21st Judicial District court of Lee County on February 16, with the Honorable Reva Towslee- Corbett presiding. Ramon L. Saldana was found guilty of having a prohibited substance and/or item in a correctional facility and was given four years probation as his sentence. The Judge slapped a $1,000 fine on him, along with ordering him to pay $304 in court costs, $400 for his court ordered attorney fee, a $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper fee, and a $34 DNA testing fee. He was also instructed to perform 200 hours of community service restitution.
