Jacob Warner Shows Grand Champion Brahman

The Junior Market Steer Show at the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Grand Champion Brahman honors were received by Jacob Warner of Lexington, Texas. Warner is currently a member of Lexington FFA. His steer, “Sledge” was a homegrown steer from Gary Warner. Warner would like to attend Texas A& M University one day.

Amy Stoermer of Marion, Texas received Reserve Champion Brahman honors. Stoermer is currently a member of Marion FFA. Her steer, “Spencer” was bred by Spencer Tanksley. Stoermer plans to attend Texas A&M University one day.

To date, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo educational commitment exceeds $ 105 million with a record $8.5million committed in 2010 in the form of scholarships, grants, endowments, auction, calf scramble program and show premiums paid to youth.
