Three Years Common Link in Sentencings
Two people were sentenced in the 21st District Court of Lee County last Thursday, February 9. The Honorable Terry Flenniken presided over the sentencings.
Raynard L. Barr, 17 of Bryan, was sentenced to three years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for harassment by person in certain correctional facility. He was ordered to pay $304 in court costs, $400 for a court appointed attorney fee, a $50 Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee and a $34 DNA testing fee.
Megan Lizet Rodriguez, 20 of Austin, was given three years probation for possession of a controlled substance – cocaine, less than one gram. Judge Flenniken ordered her to pay a $1,000 fine, $304 in court costs, $50 for a Bluebonnet Area Crime Stopper Fee, $34 for DNA testing, $60 for the drug court fee, and $140 restitution. She was also ordered to enter and successfully complete a Drug Offender Education Program and perform 100 hours of community service restitution.
