Four people were sentenced in the 21st Judicial District Court of Lee County last Thursday, January 26, with the Honorable Terry Flenniken presiding.
Terry Roy Roemer, 54 of Burton, was sentenced for Possession of a controlled substance – cocaine, 1-4 grams, repeat felony offender. His original sentence was revoked and he was ordered to spend two years confined in the TDCJ. Judge Flenniken ordered that he pay all costs previously assessed plus $400 for the court appointed attorney on revocation matters.
Samanica Lawanda Jackson, 27 of Somerville, also saw her original sentence revoked after being found guilty of forgery by passing and engaging in organized criminal activity. She was ordered to spend ten months confinement in the TDCJ state jail facility and pay all costs previously assessed.
Paul Ryan McCluney, 19 of Gautier, Mississippi, was given eight years probation for indecency with a child. He was ordered to pay $1,354 in fines, court costs and fees and he was ordered to register as a sex offender.
Anthony Bernard Green, 52 of Giddings, was sentenced for assault – family violence. His original sentence was revoked and he was ordered to spend 180 days in the Lee County Law Enforcement Center. Judge Flenniken ordered him to pay all costs previously assessed, plus $400 for his court appointed attorney on revocation matters.
