Country Music Monday

A fantastic drummer, noted singer/guitarist, Gospel singer, plus Sally Carlson, Ken Brothers and the regular Country Music Monday band are on the program for Monday night’s Country Music Monday’s show. The February 6th performance is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Giddings and is held at the new Giddings High School cafetorium on Highway 77 north of Giddings.

Trailboss Troy Arndt, a veteran of the South Texas music scene, has been playing drums since he was twelve years of age. He has been a front man for top acts, opened shows for the country’s biggest names, performed in clubs throughout Texas, and entertained at many fairs and festivals. He is changing the face of the music scene with his one man shows, backed by the best musicians money can buy. Troy’s live shows include current country hits and classic country songs. His performance catalogue includes over 10,000 songs from every style and decade of music and his versatile style and vocals make him an excellent entertainer for any crowd.

Ronnie Caywood started singing and playing guitar in his early teens when he formed a band and played all around Central Texas. His love of music has led him to develop his own unique Country style as well as Blues, Rockability and Western Swing. He has been a participant on “America’s Got Talent,” has been showcased in Nashville, sung at famous Lounges, and shared bills with the greatest musicians. He has performed in Austin’s SXSW and has filmed a TV special with Country singer Claude Gray. He is a member of the Austin Federation of musicians, is listed in the Texas Music Directory, and is a member of the Academy of Country Music. He is comfortable in front of crowds, while still remaining true to his Texas music.

Terry Lyne Moore was formerly from Arkansas but now resides in Bastrop and has been singing and entertaining for many years. She started her career singing with the Three Creeks Band and has performed across Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. She has opened for many well known artists including Diamond Rio, Brooks and Dunn, and B. J. Thomas. While in Florida, she was part of the country gospel group God’s Country. In June of 2009, she released her gospel CD titled “Because of His Grace.” She feels blessed to be able to bring God’s message in song. Her latest CD “Patsy Remembered” is a collection of Patsy Cline favorites.
