Lady Eagles Tripped by Rogers
Mackenzie Brown’s 20-point effort wasn’t enough to propel Lexington to a win in Friday’s district game. Rogers prevailed 53-42. Brown drove to the basket, heaved threes, and dished the ball to teammates. Rogers still had the manpower to win the game.
Lexington won the first quarter, as they have in many games, but could not keep control of the lead. Scoring deficits in the second, third, and fourth quarters doomed the Lady Eagles.
