Lexington watched Cameron drop in four consecutive three-pointers in the first quarter to take a quick lead. Lexington fought hard defensively to keep the Yoe close. Cameron led the entire game until the fourth quarter when the intense Eagle defensive pressure finally caused the Yoe to faulter. Lexington erased the deficit and led by as much as 10 points.

Lexington was able to get some easy lay ups and high percentage shots because of the hustling and quick pressure the Eagles kept on them the entire game. Jason Washington benefited by stealing the ball in the open court and driving for an easy lay in. Washington totaled 16 points in the game. Eriq Mitchell dropped 11 points through the nets. Josh Lay and A.J. Flot put 9 each on the scoreboard.

Donnie Havard and Jason Washington were the leading criminals with four steals each from the Cameron players. Lexington stole the ball a total of 12 times from the Yoe ball handlers. A.J. Flot had a nice night on the boards as he collected 14 caroms. Lexington’s team play is improving as they hit the open man for shots that could be made. Washington led with five assists, Josh Murray had four, and Havard three to lead the team.
